A summer visit to the Lehman Farm, Nappanee, Indiana

On Wednesday August 17th several of us from TPDR enjoyed a wonderful day visiting our Amish friends Toby and Ona Sue Lehman and their children in Nappanee, Indiana.

Dr. Bob Scharp and wife Sue from Big Rapids, Mi., Marcy Smoker from Bronson,Mi., and myself first met up at Shipshewana Harness, then went to P&W Creations, then a visit to Yoders Department Store, then to the wonderful Rise & Roll Bakery where we filled up several baskets of Amish baked goodies!

We then proceeded to our friend's place for a wonderful haystack dinner and great conversation. As Dr. Bob, Sue and Marcy are all very anxious to learn to drive their donkeys we were off to the barn to get started. Toby's team of minis consists of a little homebred jennet and her TPDR teammate Dude.
