Pistol Pete and Sidecar meet their new equine pal "DT"

Pistol Pete and Sidecar are greeted by their new human family!

Smooch was adopted by Deirdre Hunt and her name has been changed to Arwen Evening Star. A perfect name for this actress donkey who recently starred in a living nativity scene!  Congratulations to the Hunt family!

Arwen's Evening Star  (formerly Smooch) was adopted by Deidre Hunt in December of 2006. Soon after arriving at the Hunt's farm, they learned that their new donkey had a surprise for them, she was pregnant! Her foal was born at 11:58 pm on May 31st under a blue moon with Jupiter rising so he is called Jupiter.  Dee reports that mom and baby are both doing just great

Monroe (left) and Gilligan were adopted by Richard Hutchins of Fennville Mi. Congratulations to the Hutchins family!!

Eeyore was adopted by Kelly and Dean Thomas of Herron, MI. Kelly picked Eeyore up on 12-21-06- What a wonderful Christmas present!

Congratulations to the Thomas family!

***UPDATE***  01-05-07

Hi all,
Just thought you might like to see how well Joni (now known lovingly as Josephine) is adjusting to her new home here in Gregory, Michigan.
When we lost our 11 year old SSH brood mare due to an impaction a week before Christmas, her yearling filly, Priscilla was devastated to be all alone. She was lost and looking for her mom. We were all so heartbroken to lose our "big Mama" and to see Priss so sad. The vet said it was normal for her to be depressed but when she quit eating I became really concerned.
So I called TPDR! With a lot of help from everyone, I decided to bring Josie home to help me care for my "little orphan". When my husband and I went to Metamora and saw Joni* and her best friend Jill we fell in love, we really wanted to take both of them but didn't want them to leave Prissy out. We met Tia's mom and later Tia, (what great girls they are) and even though it was hard for them to see her go, we assured them that she was going to go to a good place. And boy, is she happy.
What a great Christmas it was for all of us here to see and hear that sweet little donkey. We adore her! Thanks again for all the help in rushing this through, you made Priscilla and her family very happy.
Happy New Year!  Cindy and Don Ashley

Porter was  adopted by Kristen Consiglio of Dansville MI. He will be the third donkey adopted from TPDR to join her family. Congratulations on your new Christmas Donkey!

Guy, MaryAnn and Tumbleweed arrive at their new home in West Branch, Michigan. They were adopted by Peter Maeder and his girlfriend Holly. Congratulations to both of you on your instant new donkey family!
