Donkeys Adopted In October 2008

TPDR Houdie has been adopted by Paul and Susan Berman of Summerfield, Florida.
Houdie left Turning Pointe Donkey Rescue on Tuesday, Oct. 7th with C & W Horse Transport of Fowlerville, Mi. for his trip south to join his new family. Paul and Susan are also involved with rescue. They currently have SEVEN rescue Newfoundland dogs and one lovely old grandma Doberman.
Lucky you, little man! You have come quite a distance from being just another unwanted auction donkey to a very bright future with a couple that can't wait to meet you.
Thank you Paul and Susan for choosing Houdie and Turning Pointe for your new friend. There are a LOT of donkeys between Dansville, Mi. and the Ocala, Florida area!

**August 2009** Seems as if Houdie has a bit of a problem with the hot Florida sun burning his sensitive white nose. His veterinarian prescribed either Desitin or a sunscreen applied to Houdie's nose. Well he promptly would rub that nose on anything available to get that STUFF off of !!
