Donkeys Adopted In October 2009

Molly was adopted by Monika Samaniego of Avoca, Michigan. Molly will be reunited with old friends and herd mates Uncle Buck and Buddy. The two boys were adopted by Monika and husband in July of this year and recently decided to bring Molly Mule home as well. She reports that Uncle Buck SMILED when he heard the news. She had noticed that he sometimes spent long periods of time standing under his pine tree looking a bit lost and forlorn. These long ears are both in their twenties and had been together for many years when they lived with Dave and Arden Phillips in Alpena. Buddy is also very bonded to the pair but is by far the most resilient and independent of the group. Monika, your compassion for Uncle Buck means the world to us at TPDR. You are indeed a special lady.

A special thank you to Laurie and her friends Casey, Lauren, Wonji, Grace, Sydney, Lexi, Daria, Emily, Marilyn and their teacher Mrs Herring of St. Martha's School in Okemas Michigan. On October 9th, 2009, they hosted a bake sale that benefited all of the long ears here at TPDR! THANKS to each and everyone of you!!

The Maudries fostered Molly Mule before her adoption and also adopted TPDR Conrad and Paco from us in May of 2009.
