Meet TPDR
Everett. This "Old Duffer" came to us from a humane society that was
closing due to lack of funding. He came to them as a result of a
sheriff's seizure in 2007.
Everett is a
sound, healthy gelding 20-20+ years old. You would never know it by
his appearance and behavior. He is a friendly and trusting donkey.
He moves right in with any and all new companions and is happy
wherever I put him. The only time he behaves in an anxious manner is
when he is separated from a group. He tells me he more than likely
lost a very close friend somewhere in his past.
He shows NO
animosity to any other equine friend. Everett has a little bit of a
broken crest on his neck, so at one time, he was a bit overweight.
He is in great shape at this time. This boy loves to eat, so his
diet must be maintained so he is not allowed to overindulge in the
future. When I am graining some of the poorer donkeys, Everett just
knows it is for him!!! He will make a perfect companion for either
another donkey or horse.
