Update on Carson and Hairy Potter

all the way from Poughkeepsie New York!

Hairy Potter and Carson

Dear Sharon and all at TPDR,

We hope all is well with you and the critters at Turning Pointe. Here we are fine, we just finished our never ending fence project (almost-Ha ha!) At least I now have the largest pasture completely fenced with beautiful Ramm fencing. Thought my worries were over about escapees...I was wrong! One day after my completion I looked out the window and guess who was standing on the wrong side of the fecne? Hairy Potter, better known as "Bad Donkey". Ha Ha! He must be a magician, we still don't know how he did it.

So, for the past two days I have been running a strand of electric around my beautiful new fence (that doesn't work!) The things we do for our animals!

Actually one of the photos I sent is of Hairy with the spool from the electric rope in his mouth. He was probably laughing at me. He is into something every day! Carson on the other hand is just a lover who loves kisses and pets. Never causes trouble and is only bad when he follows Hairy!

The other day Hairy came across the field with a halter in his mouth and dropped it at my feet. It was on a horse the day before! He is amazing. Well, we love them even when they are "bad".

Take care and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TURNING POINTE DONKEY RESCUE!!

Love always, Hairy and Carson (the donkeys) and Celie and Samantha (the humans)
